Warranty Policy

1. Overview

This Warranty Policy is issued by Bhansali Bizgrow LLP trading as Avitree Bikes / Avitree World in respect of bicycle products and spare parts thereof sold to end-user purchasers. This Policy constitutes the complete and exclusive warranty given by Avitree and supersedes any prior representations regarding warranty.

This warranty is personal to the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable. It is valid only when the Product is purchased from an authorised Avitree dealer or directly from the Avitree Platform and is registered within 30 days of purchase at www.avitreebikes.com.

2. Frame Warranty Terms

2.1 Frame Warranty Coverage

Avitree warrants its bicycle frames against defects in materials and workmanship under normal riding conditions for the periods specified below. Coverage includes the main frame triangle, rear stays, fork (if Avitree-branded), and integrated frame components.

Steel Frame (Entry / Kids Range) carries a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects in welds, materials, and structural integrity under normal use. Aluminium Frame (Mid Range) carries a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects in welds, extrusion, and structural integrity under normal use. Aluminium Frame (Performance Range) carries a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects including weld integrity, tube failure, and dropouts under normal use. Carbon Fibre Frame (if applicable) carries a 3-year warranty covering delamination, matrix cracking, or structural failure not caused by impact or misuse. Front Fork (Avitree-Branded) carries a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects in structural integrity; suspension forks are covered per the manufacturer's terms.

The warranty covers repair or replacement of the defective frame at Avitree's sole discretion and does not include labour, transport, or consequential costs. Where the exact model is unavailable due to product evolution, Avitree reserves the right to substitute an equivalent or superior model.


3. Parts & Components Coverage

3.1 Avitree-Branded Components

Handlebar & Stem carries a 1-year warranty covering material and manufacturing defects under normal use. Seat Post & Saddle carries a 1-year warranty covering material defects; saddle cover and padding are excluded after normal wear. Rims & Wheels (complete) carry a 1-year warranty covering structural integrity; spoke breakage from normal use is excluded. Brakes & Brake Levers carry a 1-year warranty covering mechanical defects; pads, cables, and housing are consumables and excluded. Derailleur & Shifters carry a 1-year warranty covering mechanical defects; cables, housing, and indexing adjustment are excluded. Crankset & Bottom Bracket carry a 1-year warranty covering bearing failure due to manufacturing defect; normal wear is excluded. Pedals carry a 6-month warranty covering structural defects; bearing wear and thread damage from over-torque are excluded. Chain is not covered as it is a consumable subject to wear and is replaced at customer cost. Tyres & Inner Tubes carry a 7-day warranty from delivery covering manufacturing defects confirmed on delivery only; punctures and wear are excluded. Grip & Handlebar Tape are not covered as they are consumable wear items. Paint, Decals & Finish carry a 30-day warranty covering factory defects only; chips, fading, and cosmetic wear are excluded.

3.2 Third-Party Components

Components carrying a third-party brand (e.g. Shimano drivetrains, Kenda tyres, SR Suntour forks) are covered exclusively under that manufacturer's warranty terms. Avitree will assist customers in lodging such claims through the respective manufacturer's authorised channel.

4. Warranty Registration

  1. Register your bicycle at www.avitreebikes.com within 30 days of purchase. Unregistered products are not eligible for warranty claims.
  2. Upload a clear copy of your original proof of purchase (tax invoice) during registration.
  3. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful verification and approval of the registration.
  4. The bicycle's serial number (stamped on the bottom bracket shell) must match the registered record for any claim to be processed.

5. Warranty Claim Process

Step 1 — Contact Avitree Support

Email connect@avitreeworld.com or call +91 84333 28100 with the following details:

      Full name and registered mobile number / email address

      Order ID or proof of purchase

      Bicycle model, colour, and serial number

      Clear description of the defect with photographs or video

Step 2 — Claim Assessment

Avitree's support team will review submitted details within 2–3 business days and advise on eligibility. Where remote assessment is inconclusive, the Customer will be directed to the nearest authorised dealer.

Step 3 — Physical Inspection

The Customer must present the bicycle and original proof of purchase at an authorised Avitree dealer. The dealer will determine whether the defect is manufacturing-related or due to misuse / wear and tear. The dealer's assessment is subject to Avitree's final confirmation.

Step 4 — Resolution

Upon confirmation of a valid defect, Avitree will at its sole discretion repair or replace the defective component or frame. Avitree targets a resolution TAT of 7–21 business days from claim confirmation.

6. Exclusions & Limitations

6.1 This Warranty Does NOT Cover

      Normal wear and tear — chains, tyres, brake pads, cables, housing, bearings, grips, saddle covers

      Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance

      Damage from accidents, collisions, impacts, or acts of God

      Stunt riding, ramp / dirt jumping, downhill racing, trials, or commercial use (rentals, delivery)

      Unauthorised modifications, alterations, or substitution of components

      Failure to follow the Owner's Manual or recommended torque specifications

      Cosmetic damage — paint chips, scratches, decal fading, or corrosion from environmental exposure

      Products serviced by non-authorised persons or workshops

      Products with removed, altered, or illegible serial numbers

      Second-hand purchases or products acquired outside authorised Avitree channels

      Damaged or missing components reported more than 7 days after purchase

      Labour, transport, and shipping costs unless expressly waived by Avitree

6.2 Limitation of Liability

Avitree's liability under this Warranty is strictly limited to repair or replacement of the defective item. Avitree shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including personal injury, property damage, or loss of use.
